Matthew Brewer
Dr Matthew Brewer is the founder and head instructor of Daoist
Internal Arts and is a full time internal arts teacher. He is
a qualified B. K.
Frantzis Energy Arts instructor and is a Registered Instructor with
the Tai Chi
Union of Great Britain. He has studied Tai Chi & related
practices since 1994. His first teacher was the much loved Brian
Cookman, the first head of the The Tai Chi and Chi Kung Forum for
Health. Matthew and Brian started training with Master
B.K.Frantzis in 1999.

He holds a PhD in Theology and Religious Studies from the University of Kent at Canterbury where for many years he taught Chinese Philosophy part-time on the M.A. in Mysticism and Religious Experience and the M.A. in Cosmology and Divination.
He is the designer, coordinator and head instructor of the Tai Chi for Chronic Pain Service in the Eastern & Coastal Kent PCT.
Lineage
Bruce Kumar Frantzis
Matthew has been training with Master B.K.Frantzis since 1999. Bruce Frantzis is the first knonw westerner to ever have received a complete Daoist lineage and to have been recognised as a Daoist master in China. As well as the Daoist Water method meditation lineage, he holds lineages in the second generation Yang and Wu Tai Chi, Bagua of the original Beijing School and Hsing I. In addition to training directly with B.K.Frantzis, Matthew has been training regularly with Brian Cooper, head of the Inside Tai Chi school in Brighton, England, since 2000. Brian has studied Qigong, Tai Chi and related practices since 1979 and has been studying with Bruce Frantzis since 1987. He has been teaching full time in Brighton since 1989. He is the top European student of master Bruce Frantzis and serves as technical advisor to the instructors certified by master Frantzis in the UK and Europe.
